Posted by A scared girl on September 23, 2000 Last year, I was on aol and i got an instant message. it freaked me out because no one had ever sent me and instant message if i didn't know them. This is a Copy & Paste of our conversation((I erased my screen name so no one can email me)):

DARKSOUL: Hello. Lovely night don't you think

________: age and sex

DARKSOUL: im old enough

DARKSOUL: male

DARKSOUL: having fun online?

________: i guess so

DARKSOUL: me too

DARKSOUL: its a dark night. can't even see whose creepig around

________: yeah and?

DARKSOUL: I'm sorry if I'm frightening you

________: no. your not im fine

________: Got a pic?

DARKSOUL: as a matter of fact, i do!

After he said that, i got an email from him. He said he sent it and so i went to check my mail. I clicked on the email icon and the picture downloaded. I screamed and my whole body started shaking when I saw that the picture was ME!...sitting in front of my computer,same clothes I had on, EVERYTHING! It was like he had JUST taken the photograph of me at my computer right then and instantly sent it to me! I signed off and ran into my brother's room and told him to get his gun out and we turned on all the floodlights , and every porch light we had. After that incident, I deleted my account with AOL. Its been only this year that I have gotten over that fear and I finally re-opened my account. They say you need to be careful online..and I was- I still am! I don't know who that was, but they scared me so bad that I don't accept email or instant messages anymore.
